Ready for take-off? Prepare for the most colorful desert flight you can imagine.
On my 2,5 hour plane flight over the Namib desert I witnessed countless unique shapes as well as a powerful and unexpected clash of colors and surfaces. The underground river Kuiseb draws a line of vegetation throughout Namibia with no visible water stream, separating orange sand from a moon-like stone landscape.
Where the atlantic ocean meets Namibia, salt mines paint pink areals along the coast where thousands of flamingos enjoy the west african breeze.
